The Roku XS has a good stab at bringing web content to your TV, but it's too expensive and it's no match for the WDTV Live or Apple TV. Read more

Sharp HT-SL50H review
Sharp's HT-SL50H is a good choice if your flat-screen TV's weedy audio is doing your nut in. The soundbar offers a crisp, wide, stereo spread, while the subwoofer fills out the mid-range. It's an elegant, affordable sonic upgrade for couch potatoes. Read more

Toshiba StorE TV+ review
The Toshiba StorE TV+ is a competent multimedia streamer with an ill-judged interface that few would want to live with. Despite broad file-format support and a capacious hard drive, it's frustrating to use. Read more

Toshiba HDR5010 review

Sony BDP-S480 review
The Sony BDP-S480 is a steal at its current price. As well as premium 3D Blu-ray playback capability, it offers tonnes of other great features, including access to the Bravia Internet Video Web portal. Read more

Panasonic DMP-BDT110 review
The Panasonic DMP-BDT110 is a great Blu-ray player, offering 3D support and networked media-playback capability. It's just a shame there's no iPlayer access yet. Read more

Sony SMP-N100 review
The Sony SMP-N100 networked media streamer gets pretty much everything right. Its codec support could be more comprehensive, but its Internet features really shine. Read more
