Good: Easy menu system
Bad: Can't receive NetFlix in the UK
Comment: I can't comment on the picture quality as I thought I'd try out it's internet connection for streaming NetFlix. It can do LoveFilm, but not NetFlix. It looks live the providers are hard-coded into the device and Sony can't add new providers. Very disappointed. Sony have failed me too may times now, and won't be getting any repeat business from me.

Good: Nothing
Bad: Crashes, can't cope with USB technology, Sony is the new name for SHODDY
Comment: This is really a frustrating pile of rubbish. I have one with a Sony USB wireless dongle and a USB memory stick. The latter has been tested and works perfectly on all other devices.
The player tries to load stuff onto the stick and then produces an error "Device not responding". Occasionally the whole unit will freeze with all lights on and can't be powered down unless switched off at the mains. I'm guessing it can't cope with powering 2 USB devices at once. Does anyone at Sony test this rubbish before rushing it out the door in desperation before the company collapses?
Sony are going down the sewer and the quality of their products is already in the sewer.
Don't buy Sony. You will be disappointed. Once a name for quality, now Sony is the new name for SHODDY.

Bad: some time takes too much time to start....
Comment: i m using it with my Samsung hdtv picture qulity is amazing and plays my mkv files from my usb hdd i luv it...no need to connect laptop any more or wtchin online movies n other stuf g8 machin..really worth...

Good: Low price, good quality image, excellent remote
Bad: DLNA music client can be a bit unstable when paired with Windows Media Player 12
Comment: Excellent low price player with the right connectivity, great image quality and a good clean digital audio out. A very flexible media hub with only a few glitches that could do with ironing out. Some already have been with the simple firmware update process and no doubt the others will follow.
