Good: As long as it works everything is good
Bad: The model or a certain series of models is defective
Comment: I bought it in Feb 2010. It worked fine for 2 months then all of a sudden one day it started giving the message "NO DISK" and what ever disc I put in I got this message.
I complained to Pioneer and they replaced it with a new set in April 2010, this new set has again stopped working and it gives the same message as before.
I think there is some kind of a software lock which gets activated either after a certain number of offs and ons or after a certain number of discs have been played.
No matter how good a player is if it does not work you really can;t enjoy it. Now I am requesting Pioneer to refund my money because I do not trust this model anymore.
Be careful if you are planning to buy it. I have another Panasonic player BD-30 which has worked fine for the last 2 years and is one fifth of the price.
