Andrew Lim
It's thought that Andrew was born with built-in Bluetooth. When he talks, radios make that strange buzzing sound usually associated with network interference and there are rumours that he has an alphanumeric keypad implanted in his back.

A recession is just what the mobile industry needs
Every day I read several stories about mobile manufacturers struggling under the weight of the global recession and while it saddens me to hear that some may collapse, I'm not sure it's necessarily a bad thing for the industry. Click here for more

Where's my Web desktop?
I don't know about you, but I find my desktop an awkward and intimidating place to be -- it's cluttered and almost indecipherable. It's not that I can't find files if I have to, I just use a desktop search client and hey presto I'll find what I'm looking for, but the process can be slow and infuriating. Click here for more

Don't copy, make a fork
Could everyone please stop making touchscreen phones? Recently I reviewed the Samsung F490, an iPhone lookalike that falls short when it comes to the touchscreen and software interface. Project SociaLim

Digital insulation: BT was right, it is good to talk
The modern office might seem like an oasis of serenity, but many workers are chuckling away to themselves without even opening their mouths. Dads, lolcats and the digital divide
Let's face it, if you don't laugh at pictures of cats with comically misspelled captions then you simply aren't quite the thing -- you're certainly no digital native. Yet what am I to make of my father? He sits in front of an Internet connection all day, so he's no technophobe, but he wouldn't know a lolcat if one peed on his foot. He lives in a digital world -- but surfs a completely different Internet. Click here for more

HTC Diamond or Dream? The rumour mill starts turning
Recently an invitation to an HTC event was sent out with the tagline, "Witness the next wave of HTC innovation." Many tech journalists, including myself, hastily came to the conclusion that it could very well be the launch of the HTC Android phone -- codenamed the HTC Dream. Click here for more
