Andrew Lim
It's thought that Andrew was born with built-in Bluetooth. When he talks, radios make that strange buzzing sound usually associated with network interference and there are rumours that he has an alphanumeric keypad implanted in his back.

Google Latitude is just the beginning
Yesterday Google announced Google Latitude, a location-based social app that lets you see where your friends are and vice versa. It's available to download on a variety of mobiles, including BlackBerrys, S60 handsets and Windows Mobile phones. As a concept, it's very simple -- but this is the beginning of something huge. Where's my Web desktop?
I don't know about you, but I find my desktop an awkward and intimidating place to be -- it's cluttered and almost indecipherable. It's not that I can't find files if I have to, I just use a desktop search client and hey presto I'll find what I'm looking for, but the process can be slow and infuriating. Click here for more

Don't copy, make a fork
Could everyone please stop making touchscreen phones? Recently I reviewed the Samsung F490, an iPhone lookalike that falls short when it comes to the touchscreen and software interface. It's not a bad phone, but it's annoying that manufacturers are all rushing to catch up with Apple. Click here for more

Project SociaLim
Why has social networking taken off online? Why do we need an Internet for it? Why can't it be transferred to the 'real world', where you really meet people? I decided it was time to find out whether or not it was possible to take all the cool bits from popular social-networking sites and somehow turn them into real-world experiences -- this was project SociaLim. Digital insulation: BT was right, it is good to talk
The modern office might seem like an oasis of serenity, but many workers are chuckling away to themselves without even opening their mouths. The gentle clatter of keyboards and clicks of mice aren't purely the by-product of work, it's the hum of feverish online chatting that's quickly replacing the 'water cooler moments' employees used to treasure.
