What is it: In-ear headphones with carrying case
What we think: They don't block out noise, but they do provide much more bass than stock earbuds

"Not that good, really"
What I like:
They're Bose... the sound quality is *perhaps* better than others???
What I don't like:
A bit painful to wear, get dirty, bulky 'phones and bulky jack adapter
Review:
Firstly, the CNET review is absolutely spot on... I have these headphones in right now, and as I was reading the review I was nodding along in agreement to every statement (headphones feeling like they were falling out with each nod).
I am a gadget freak, and always long for the best of everything; so wanted the best pair of headphones for my new iPod Touch I could find... I bought these to replace Sennheiser CX 300s (which are already pretty excellent) - and to be honest, with audio quality it is difficult to disparage...
The Bose are better... I THINK... but I can't be sure! As CNET say - the bass is a little too overcooked, giving the overall sound experience a slightly "Recorded in the toilet" kind of flavour... but that said, it is a warm sound... and the highs can be quite discreet sometimes (a nice acoustic guitar sound in a rock song comes as welcome relief when it comes!)
I feel like I have to keep adjusting the position of these 'phones in my ears to get the best sound - which is in the top ten of my biggest bug-bears in the world. And the more you adjust them, the sorer your ears get.
I bought these thinking they would be hands down the best in-ear headphones in the history of mankind, because they're Bose and because they cost £70.
What transpires is they're aiming for an emperors’ new clothes market... just because it says Bose in shiny silver coming out of your ear canal does not mean they're amazing...
And in fact my poor lug-holes are actually hurting a bit! :-(
Seriously... did Bose bother testing these themselves or WHAT?!
