What is it: 7.1-channel surround-sound decoder and amplifier
What we think: A very strong performer for movies that also does a remarkable job with music

We like:
Movie surround sound is fantastic; music performance is very good; plenty of power; easy to use and configure
We don't like:
Massive heat generation; a bit on the chunky side
You might also need:
Digital audio cables; enough HDMI cables to connect all your equipment; 6 or 8 speakers
