Typical price: £100
What is it: Dual armature-driven sound-isolating earphones
What we think: Worth the extra cash over the Custom-1s, with strengths in vocal and acoustic music

We like:
Performance with certain musical genres; exceptionally warm sound; excellent build quality
We don't like:
Design won't suit all ears; high-end frequencies aren't stellar
Also known as:
Custom2; Custom 2
You might also need:
3.5mm-to-6.3mm adaptor
CNET UK judgement:
Clearly great sub-£100 earphones for jazz, soul and vocal genre lovers. If it's music that can be performed live without any amplification, electronics or mixing desks, it's probably suitable for the Custom-2s
