Typical price: £65
What is it: Portable speakers for iPod and other selected MP3 players
What we think: It's a shame that the Journi's fantastic design is complimented by only average sound quality

We like:
Unique and stylish design; built-in rechargeable battery and handy meter for checking battery's charge on the go; pass-through for syncing and an auxiliary line-input for non-iPod MP3 players
We don't like:
So-so sound quality; remote not terribly responsive
CNET UK judgement:
For iPod owners who aren't picky about sound and want an ultracompact portable speaker system with a cool design and a healthy array of features, the Griffin Journi is a decent option
